iPhone pics...

I'm never ever without my phone.  Mostly because of the fact that I can, at any moment, capture my little ones funniest moments...without having to lug around my camera and bag.  Granted...the quality of the pic isn't even comparable to a shot taken with my camera, but that's not what's important.  It's the quality of the memory...the giggle...the silliness of the occasion.  Just random moments...moments only a Mommy could love.

...I really have no idea.

Superman!...Mommy's little hero.

Like father, like daughter.

My little pound puppy.

Pucker-up baby!

Um, ok...I have no words for this one.

Daddy riding Lilee's princess bike.

Oh no...not Braxton too!!
My boys are goobers.

Ahhhh...summer on a stick.

Me and Lilee cruzin' in her Barbie Jeep.

Who-hooo!
Nice to know that my butt's still small enough to squeeeeze into the kiddie rides.

My little weed.

Love me some Lilee Art!

She always makes Mommy smile with her driveway masterpiece's.

Strawberry pickin' at Nana n Papa's.

Didn't even wash the dirt off before chowin' down.

Again...no words.

The Graduate...

Well...she did it.  My Lilee Boo is officially ready for Kindergarten.  And, as always...Gram couldn't resist the chance for a  photo-op.  Besides...who needs a hired photographer...when you have a free Gram!

Holding Daddy's old junior high year book...
Man!...that'll make a guy feel old!

Giving Gramee's reading glasses a try...

She loves the # 5...
cause she's FIVE years old, of course!

 Ahhh...there's my girl!

 Ta-Da!

Now, if I can just get her to understand that we still have a few more months before kindergarten actually starts.  She wants to totally skip summer, and start her new school tomorrow!

First Things First...

...as soon as the weather warms up, ya gotta get outside and start enjoying summer!

Uh oh, Lilee...better run!

Ah ha!  Getting her revenge.

That's my girl...makin' the boys run for cover!

Speaking of boys...

Check out this handsome stud...
and his new toofers.

First time in the baby pool.

I can't even look at this pic without laughing!

Daddy is secretly jealous of B's hair. (hehe!)

Hey...where did everybody go??

Those eyes... (sigh)
and when he flashes those dimples... (gulp)
...just to be safe, I think I'll just lock him up now.

Being A Mom...

Being a mom is so hard.  Being a stay-at-home mom is, for me...even harder.  A "job" that has many times, made me feel like I should check myself into the closest looney house.  The challenges, chaos, constant messes, lack of sleep, lack of patience, the worries and fears, doubts and frustrations, and on and on and on.  But that being said...I still love my job, and wouldn't trade it for the world.  Nothing has ever been more challenging, yet at the same time...more rewarding.  No career or amount of money, could ever make me think other wise.
Has someone ever said something to you...in passing...and it ends up sticking with you?
My neighbor and I recently spoke about her two daughters (both, now in college) and how much she missed them.
"I stayed home with my girls.  For over 18 years I was a stay-at-home mom.  Some mornings I couldn't even finish a cup of coffee...and some nights, I'd still be in the same pajamas that I woke up in. (I laughed and thought to my self  'Amen!')  Now that they're on their own...I see the impact I had on them.  I see the difference I made in their lives." (She smiled and looked at Lilee and Braxton who were, at the time, acting like hoodlums...)
"Enjoy them.  The time you have with them doesn't last long."

All five of us...Me, Em, Aim, Mom, and Nana.  With our babies...on Mothers Day.

Me, Em, and Aim with our Mothers Day presents...our sweet little angels.
Who, by the way, aren't always so sweet...but they sure do make up for it!

Brian with his Mom.
Every once in a while you come across a special kind-of person.  Someone who always gives, and never wants anything in return...Jan is that person.  She's always ready and willing to help, in any way.
Not sure what we'd do without her!

My beautiful family.

My heart.
Why wouldn't I smile when I've got these two to love?

Couldn't have asked for anything more on Mothers Day.
