First Things First...

...as soon as the weather warms up, ya gotta get outside and start enjoying summer!

Uh oh, Lilee...better run!

Ah ha!  Getting her revenge.

That's my girl...makin' the boys run for cover!

Speaking of boys...

Check out this handsome stud...
and his new toofers.

First time in the baby pool.

I can't even look at this pic without laughing!

Daddy is secretly jealous of B's hair. (hehe!)

Hey...where did everybody go??

Those eyes... (sigh)
and when he flashes those dimples... (gulp)
...just to be safe, I think I'll just lock him up now.

Being A Mom...

Being a mom is so hard.  Being a stay-at-home mom is, for me...even harder.  A "job" that has many times, made me feel like I should check myself into the closest looney house.  The challenges, chaos, constant messes, lack of sleep, lack of patience, the worries and fears, doubts and frustrations, and on and on and on.  But that being said...I still love my job, and wouldn't trade it for the world.  Nothing has ever been more challenging, yet at the same time...more rewarding.  No career or amount of money, could ever make me think other wise.
Has someone ever said something to you...in passing...and it ends up sticking with you?
My neighbor and I recently spoke about her two daughters (both, now in college) and how much she missed them.
"I stayed home with my girls.  For over 18 years I was a stay-at-home mom.  Some mornings I couldn't even finish a cup of coffee...and some nights, I'd still be in the same pajamas that I woke up in. (I laughed and thought to my self  'Amen!')  Now that they're on their own...I see the impact I had on them.  I see the difference I made in their lives." (She smiled and looked at Lilee and Braxton who were, at the time, acting like hoodlums...)
"Enjoy them.  The time you have with them doesn't last long."

All five of us...Me, Em, Aim, Mom, and Nana.  With our babies...on Mothers Day.

Me, Em, and Aim with our Mothers Day presents...our sweet little angels.
Who, by the way, aren't always so sweet...but they sure do make up for it!

Brian with his Mom.
Every once in a while you come across a special kind-of person.  Someone who always gives, and never wants anything in return...Jan is that person.  She's always ready and willing to help, in any way.
Not sure what we'd do without her!

My beautiful family.

My heart.
Why wouldn't I smile when I've got these two to love?

Couldn't have asked for anything more on Mothers Day.

Rewinding Easter...

Hope everyone had a terrific Easter!  Ours?...it was wonderful.
Everyone together, with lots of love and laughter...couldn't ask for more.

Ahhhh...we finally got a family pic with everyone looking at the camera.
Braxton just forgot to smile...but oh well...he must have been going for the seductive stare.

Daddy and B...

Lots of Easter lovin'...

         B rockin' the mohawk...

Me and my Lilee Boo...

  Love these two...

My lil' man showing off those dimples!

My angel face...

Mommy trying to steal some kisses, but my little wiggle worm was too busy wiggling!

When there's no controlling these two...
sometimes ya just gotta laugh.

...and let kids be kids.
Those always make for the best pics anyways.

Lilee getting a talkin' to...

The three amigos...
Lilee, E, and Abby.

Little Smilee...
I've always said her eyes sparkle...isn't she a beauty?

Hunter suckin' down sweet tea.
More sugar...yep, just what these kids need.
He's growing in to such a handsome young man...and still has the kindest heart.

Adorable E...growing up way too fast!

...and his new beautiful baby sis.
Greenlee Ann.

   The boys...

Uncle Kenon, Aunt Dee Dee, Grant, and Abby.
 ...love having them home!

Jansen, Em, and their baby girl Charlee Ann...

Jakey, Aim, Big Boy E, and Baby Girl Greenlee...

...and the best, most beautiful little Easter Bunny's ever!...
 ...my Nana and Papa.

...but I saved the best for last, and voted
     "funniest pic of the day"...
...my Papa acting like a looney!

But where were Gramee and Papa?  Gramee was taking the pictures, of coarse...... and Papa was busy assisting.  Next time I'm taking control of the camera and you'll be seeing Gram and Papa's face a whole lot more!

***Oh...and one more thing.  In the previous post, I didn't realize I had posted the wrong video of Lilee singing to her brother.  The 1st video is correct, but the 2nd one should have been a different.  Since then, I've uploaded the correct video.  So be sure to scroll down below this post, click on the image, then cick on the 2nd video...it's precious to hear that sweet voice singing "you are my sunshine" to her baby brother.
