I got to see his little face just in time.  Right about the time I feel like I might loose my mind because...
...we're closing on our current house and our new house next week, but can't move in until the painters are completely finished, trying to finish up all the packing by this week end, school starting next week, and I think the summer heat is about to make me go into labor. Whew!
These pictures were just enough to make me stop, take a deep breath, and remind myself of what's to come.

The Simple Things...

Who Needs The Beach To Have Fun?...

So...we decided to cancel our trip to the beach this year.  It just would've been too much trying to get ready to close on the sale of our house along with closing on the new house, packing, etc.  But...we still wanted as close to a vacation as we could get...at least for the kids.  

Brian still took the week off so we could enjoy time together (even in the midst of all the madness)...and with no set plans...we ended up having a blast.  Surprisingly...even without the beach!

We did a bunch of other stuff as well.  And at the end of the week...Mommy and Daddy were totally wiped out.  Today... Baby Braxton, Lilee and I are taking it easy...and wishing Hunter and Daddy were here with us. 
I did learn one very important lesson this week...
...I learned that just being with the ones that you love...is enough.  Beach or no beach.

when you wait on God, when you don't rush into things or insist on making your own plans...

when you ask for His direction, and allow Him to take control...

when you let go of any doubts, fears, anxiety and remember to listen for His voice before making your next move...    

...everything just falls into place perfectly?

We are so thrilled to be able to say "our house is sold", and after only 10 days on the market!  So, now we can call the new house "officially ours"!  Our "new house"contract was contingent on us selling our current house, so all we could do is hope and pray that ours sold quickly.  The very first person that looked at our house made an offer that we accepted...and we just found out he goes to our church!!  How funny is that?  Both closing dates should be within the next few weeks so we'll have plenty of time to get moved in and unpacked before Baby Braxton arrives (whew!).  

To sum it it...Gods timing is overwhelming perfect.

**(I wanted to post a pic of the new house but Brian said "No way!...Please don't put a picture of where we're going to live on the internet! I've got 2 kids and a pregnant wife to protect."  I guess he's right.  My smushy pregnant brain is getting the best of me.  I've lost most of my common sense. (oops...hehe!) 

***(Oh...just a quick funny before I go.  Last week, my Lilee Boo was sitting on my lap hugging me.  She suddenly pulled away and said with a smirk..."Mommy your getting big and squishy!"  I thought I was going to pee my pants from laughing so hard.  Ahhhh, I can always count on my outspoken 4 year old to give it to me straight!)

I'd just like to say...I love a man who's not afraid to do a "womans job" (especially when she needs a little help)...I love my husband!

Crazy Chaos For The Next 3 Months...

The next 3 month's in the College house are going to be completely crazy.
We just signed the contract on our new house...
We're putting our current house on the market by the end of this week (and hoping it sells super quick so we can get moved into the new house with plenty of time before the baby comes in October)...
Not to mention the usual...
Between now and October, there will be 7 birthday party's (but in my family, that's nothing out-of-the-ordinary), July 4th party, Labor Day party (yep, we do a lot of partying!), packing up the entire house, moving then unpacking the entire house into the new house, doctors appointments, Lilee's school starting in August (which means back to school shopping), then maybe just enough time to take a breath before getting ready for our baby boy, which will of course  include starting from scratch (and at the last minute) on the nursery.
Add to that being 6 months pregnant, tired, and going through some serious insomnia...it's enough to make me wanna get reeeeeally psychotic. But at the end of all this, we'll be in a new house with a LOT more room (hallelujah!), have a new baby boy, and will finally be able to slow down. Oh, wait a minute...I just realized that shortly after the baby is born...then comes November and December...which means Thanksgiving, CRAZY Christmas shopping, then Christmas and New Years! I might need to visit the loony-bin by then!

One more thing...
We've decided to name the baby... Braxton Elijah-Lee ...
Braxton - because my husband loved it as soon as my sis Aimee said it.
Elijah - after the most adorable crazy handsome little boy I know...Easton Jacob Elijah.
Lee - after my Papa. He's been my hero all of my life, and he always will be.

Sharing A Little Of Baby Charlee...

Mommy Two and Lilee got to babysit sweet Baby Charlee while her Mommy went to an appointment.  Just wanted to share her beautiful little face with everyone.  She's going on 3 months...smiling and cooing and stealing everyones heart.  And "Little Mama Lilee" is getting some serious babysitting practice...getting more and more excited about having a baby brother.
