ENTER......"THE EASTON-A-TOR"

Lilee is now at the age where she is becoming very particular with her things.  She likes them in a certain order...and expects them to be in the exact same place where she last left them.  Everyone knows that with Christmas...comes many new toys, right?  Well...Lilee and I had just finished re-organizing her playroom.  We gave each new toy and trinket its own spot...tucked away all of the 'misfit' toys...and TA-DA...it ooooozed "organized big-girl playroom".  (*and we did it all while our little fuzzie was napping*)
And then he woke up...
.....(*enter Baby E*...aka..."THE EASTON-A-TOR").....

"Ummm, Lilee...
...can I play with some of your new toys??
I promise I'll be reeeeal careful."

"Oh...I think I'll just help myself"...

"Gotcha Mr. Alligator!
   Get ready for a butt-kickin'!"

"Ah-ha-ha...(*evil laugh*)
 Grrr
...'THE  EASTON-A-TOR' will rip you to shreds!"

(*note...Easton was literally 'growling' at the alligator, flipping it around,
and acting like he was going to totally whip his butt!...You just had to have been there
to hear the sound effects he was making...ALL boy!)

"Hmmm...
...who else shall I destroy?"

"Uh oh...
 Shy Whistler
...she caught me!"

"Ahh come-on!  This is unfair punishment"...

"Dude...I'm outta here...before my dad sees me!"

"Hey...a man's gotta do, what a man's gotta do.
All this girlie pretty pink stuff is making me wanna puke!"

Isn't that the cutest thing?
Lilee didn't really think so...but since it was Baby E...she let it slide.  Anybody else, she'd have been throwin' down a butt whippin'!
Somebody get this kid a boy toy!

Ahhhh...much better.
They must have found common ground.

A BLISSED-OUT, CRAZY KIND-OF CHRISTMAS...

Well, Christmas was absolutely wonderful.
Recently, with each Christmas...comes a new member of the family.  And with each new member of the family...the "Chistmas Season" gets louder and more chaotic than the last.  BUT...with every new face...comes more and more and more love and laughter.  So...I say bring on the craziness...the chaos...
...the more the merrier!!!

SHE DID WHAT???...

Ok, so this is completely random…and has nothing to do with Christmas…BUT, I had to post this for no other reason but to rally all the fam together (on both sides) and start a “NO MORE YUCKY STUFF, UNCLE JAKEE” campaign! (this will all make sense once I explain)

Last night, as I’m washing my face, Lilee is beside me brushing her teeth…
or so I thought.
I heard a slurping sound…looked down…
and saw Lilee ( my precious little baby girl)
with her head stuck completely under the faucet, tilted to the side…
slurping water…then spitting…then slurping…then spitting.
“Lilee, what in the world are you doing??” …I asked.
And as she looks up at me…water dripping all over her chin…
with a very ornery grin, she says…
“I’m being like Uncle Jakee,
and getting that yucky stuff out of my mouth.”

Well…there ya have it!  You can image the pride swelling up inside...(*eye-roll*)
Hey Uncle Jakee…you’d better keep that can of “yucky stuff” close by…cause you just might find “something special” hidden in there next time you put “yucky stuff” in your lip!

***Be afraid!***
(Ugghh...if I didn't love ya...I'd beat ya!)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...

Wishing my hubby a wonderful birthday!
We LOVE LOVE LOVE you!!

LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW...

...Don't ya just love Christmas!...

Wrappin' Up Some Christmas Joy...

Time to wrap all those presents, and get ready for the big day!  So excited for Christmas morning, but can't wait for some "down time" with the fam!  Everything gets so crazy this time of year (myself included).  Running around, shopping, wearing yourself out trying to get it all done.  I'm ready for some...sitting around...sipping coffee...watching the kids swim in the sea of Christmas presents...stuffing our faces with turkey...having nothing to do but be together.  (Sigh)...Can't wait!

Me and my Lilee Boo

I wrapped up my own present this year!

Then, of course, she had to do the same.

Now Daddy's turn

Twas The Visit From Grandad ~ Made Magical...

My dad came in from Richmond Va. for a quick visit before Christmas.  We were having lots of fun, then Grandad had to "go visit a friend" for a short while.  Lilee was bored, so she invited some of her friends over to play.  Well, I bet Grandad wishes he had stuck around because...you'll never guess what happened next!
.....(jingle, jingle, jingle).....
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter...(jingle, jingle, jingle)...Lilee and her friends sprang from her room to see what was the matter!  Away to the front door, they flew like a flash...tore open the baby gate and threw up the sash.
.....(jingle, jingle, jingle......"HoHoHo")......
When what to their wondering eyes should appear...
...But a big ole' Santa...(gasp)...he's really here!!

Oh Grandad...you really missed it! (*wink, wink*)

Yep...Santa REALLY came to Lilee's house!

What a MAGICAL surprise!

Hmmm...for some reason...Santa looks very familiar????

And I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight...
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"

Thanks Santa...for making this visit from Grandad...so magical!!!
Love you!
