They had ONE job...and one ONE job only.
I gave Hunter and Lilee a very simple task......spray all of the sand off all the beach toys. After all, it was I who suffered through the daunting task of unpacking EVERYONE's "stuff" from the beach trip...I figured this was one chore they could surely manage...without any difficulty. I assumed that my only request would be clearly understood and carried through.
I thought I had made it pretty easy for them.
...took them outside
...pointed to the toys
...pointed to the sand
...pointed to the hose
...explained to them the details
...made sure they knew what they were supposed to do
I mean...how hard could it be???
Apparently not hard at all...so easy in fact, they had extra time on their hands...
End result...
...dripping wet, PJ's soaked, shivering their little butts off. But the question still stands...
...did the sand get rinsed off of the toys?...You betcha!...and then some!!
Needless to say, they actually accomplished their very simple task...they just did it the "Hunter and Lilee way"...like two loonies that find the fun in everything they do!
Gotta love em!!
