My prayer for Lilee has been the same since she was 1 day old...
"Jesus, help her to find You at an early age. Help her to find Your hand, hold on tight, and never let go...so that you can walk beside her and guide her every step."
Never, could I have ever imagined that at 3 1/2 years old, she would have absorbed and comprehended the truth of Jesus. What I am about to describe is what I like to call "A Lilee Moment". One that I will never forget.
That night, she reminded me of what it means to trust. To have faith like a child. She has taught me more inAt the time, Brian had to be out of town A LOT. During the times when he’s away, I am admittedly uneasy. My thoughts run away with me and fear sets in. I always let Lilee sleep in “mommy and daddy’s bed”…if anything, to help ease some of my own anxiety. On one particular night, she wanted to sleep in her own bed and there was no changing her mind. I found myself pleading with her to “pleeeeease sleep with mommy”. I know, how silly…but I just couldn’t help it. I just wanted my baby girl to be close…one less thing to worry about. She looked at me with those big blue eyes and said words I will never forget… “Mommy, don’t be scared…Jesus will protect us." I stood there...breathless.
3 ½ years than I will ever be able to teach her. This video perfectly represents who Lilee really is. Her mind and heart go hand in hand. She is truly a gift. Thank You Father...thank You so much. I am excited to see what you have planned for her life.

All I can say is that she is one of our family's biggest blessings. I know God has amazing things planned for this little girl...and I also know that anyone who gets the privilege of knowing her or being close to her will not believe her heart and her faith...she is amazing!
I am sooo proud I could BUST!!! God has been so good and faithful to our family. I knew the moment she was born, God had a big plan for this little one. I hear it all the time and watched it on Sunday...Precious. Oh yea, when she was just about to finish what she was saying on the video...I heard...a mouse on a motorcyle....lol!!!!
so sweet! i say many prayers for my babies, but i've never prayed that they find Him at an early age...i'm stealing it!! you have alot of reaons to be so proud of your sweet girl! When I ask Ri where Jesus lives she says "church"...we're definitely working on that one!
