My dad came in from Richmond Va. for a quick visit before Christmas. We were having lots of fun, then Grandad had to "go visit a friend" for a short while. Lilee was bored, so she invited some of her friends over to play. Well, I bet Grandad wishes he had stuck around because...you'll never guess what happened next!
.....(jingle, jingle, jingle).....
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter...(jingle, jingle, jingle)...Lilee and her friends sprang from her room to see what was the matter! Away to the front door, they flew like a flash...tore open the baby gate and threw up the sash.
.....(jingle, jingle, jingle......"HoHoHo")......
When what to their wondering eyes should appear...
...But a big ole' Santa...(gasp)...he's really here!!
Oh Grandad...you really missed it! (*wink,wink*)
Yep...Santa REALLY came to Lilee's house!
What a MAGICAL surprise!
Hmmm...for some reason...Santa looks very familiar????
And I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight...
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"
Thanks Santa...for making this visit from Grandad...so magical!!!

Love it!!! All I have to say is....Santa looks better in his Santa suit 30 years later than he did way back then...lol
Wonderful thing your Dad did for his little girl and her little family! GOD DOES ANSWER PRAYER!!!Not always in our timing but always at the right time!!!! My heart is hohohohappy!
Just need to say one more thing...After looking at these special little picts...makes me sad but yet happy. I know that really does not make sence but...I remember this sweet, gentle man that loved his little girl so very much! I have waited for so long to see picts like this of his smile...again. I see that man again and it makes me smile!
Your Dad was and will always have a special place in my heart... remember he was my first true love..and finally I see that same LOVE come through those beautiful blue eyes...again...Thank you Jesus for answering prayer..yet..AGAIN!!!
